Pagentry Playback

Pageantry Playback is a video analysis service that provides your marching ensemble to maximize visual proficiency and portrayal of emotion through a broken down, in-depth review of your marching ensemble’s performances. A video will be sent to Pageantry Playback, an experienced visual instructor will review the video and sent a reviewed video within 48 hours. A reviewed video includes the original video.

Here’s how the process works: 

1. The director sends a Raw Video of the performance (generally 10 minutes or less) via Google Drive or cloud service.  
2. I watch the video to analyze strengths and weaknesses within the ensemble. 
3. I record over the video with live commentary. 
4. I save and send back the Video Review (generally 30-45 minutes be able to watched within one class period during the school day)
5. The performers/students watches the Video Review with humbled and open minds.
6. The performers/students experience their quick progress from week to week by watching multiple Video Reviews and comparing each performance to prior weeks. 

What can I do with your performance/rehearsal recordings?

• Zoom in
• Literally draw on the footage and expose issues within technique, body alignment, and pathways of travel. 
• Give live commentary on HOW to fix these issues. 
• Compare previous video recordings from week to week to show how we are progressing.
